Entry-related notice/disclaimer

  • All entry work including idea sheets (from here on, “entry work” will be the collective term) must be limited to applicant’s original idea which has not been presented both domestically and internationally.
  • This project is held to solve social problems. Applicant gives advance consent that his/her original entry work may be exhibited, published, or displayed on websites by the executive committee (called “organizer” from here on). Additionally, once the entry work is released, it may be freely utilized or executed by people related to the local problem for community support purpose, free of charge.
  • In case of third party utilization and execution of entry work, organizer is not responsible for any trouble/conflict between the applicant and the third party.
  • Photos and printed materials of people included in the entry work has to be limited to those with approval from copyright holder, portrayed person and any other right holder, that the image may be used and is in compliance with these rules and regulations so that the organizer and/or third party may release and utilize the work.
  • Any entry for which the following applies will be excluded. Even after the award presentation, the organizer may choose to void the given award if the following three issues are found to be at stake:
    1. (1)Entry work with an idea and design which is the same or similar to previously presented work.
    2. (2)Entry work that clearly violates other copyrights or industrial property rights.
    3. (3)Entry work that refuses exposure to the public through exhibition, publishing, presenting online, or any other method.
  • Entry work will not be returned.
  • Organizer will hold related rights to exhibiting, presenting and publishing of entry work. Also, if necessary, organizer may accordingly modify (revise, edit, process, make into motion picture, etc.) and use entry work for the purpose of this exhibit, presentation and publishing.
  • The applicant’s personal information will be used for releasing the entry work and award presentation, contacting in regards to management or document shipping, notifying of related event information, statistical processing, etc.
